I've been meaning to write about my experiences of becoming a vegan runner for some time now. Some good news today has spurred me into action as I found out that I've been selected to be a Brand Ambassador for Vegan Powered Athlete in 2021.
Last October, I completed my 3rd consecutive Snowdonia Marathon Eryri. For those who don't know the race, it's considered one of the toughest road marathons in Europe due to the insane mountainous route (check out the incline profile here - https://www.snowdoniamarathon.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2017/11/profile.pdf).
Ever had one of those drunken conversations where a plan takes on a life of its own and with every round of drinks it escalates into something much greater? That's how we ended up in Dublin with 4 friends enjoying a wonderful long weekend of Irish hospitality and one of the most fun races I've done.
